  • There is a Flash Mob Today going on at noon at Woodruff Park I think.. I think its some sort of dance. The idea behind the flash mob is to unite and make known that we want to stop the atrocities committed against 1 billion women world wide (Whether its rape, beatings, etc). Someone please film this.

  • Frida & Diego; Passion, Politics and Painting opens up at $40 a couple at the High Musem ($10 if you are a member). Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter (the one with the Unibrow) celebrated for her self-portraits and feminist themes. She was impaled in the vagina in a freak accident. You think you are having a bad day? Starts at 6pm

Usual Thursday Shindigs:

  • El Bar (939 Ponce de Leon NE) make sure you get there late and prepare to get low. Talented DJs, a room that is way too small, and $5 tequila shots that come with a free beer. Expect a cover. Solid hip hop way to end a night.

Plan Your Weekend Accordingly:

In the News:  New bike lanes are coming to Ponce.  KSU is getting a football team. JP Morgan Chase releases our states’ economic outlook. And my favorite — ATL cops chase a donut truck.
